February Release 2026 - JAVLN Platform

At JAVLN, we ship regular updates through regular deployments to improve stability, security and usability. At times, we also deliver feature releases that introduce new capabilities to help you work faster and more effectively.

No action is required to receive this release. All features will be available automatically once deployed. Some options may require configuration to match your business rules.

1. Updated user experience

• Search interface: Client, Policy, and Quote searches now use a full-width layout, with the ability to collapse search criteria to maximise screen space.
• Client management: Creating a client is now faster. Choose Organisation or Individual and the form automatically shows the fields you need.

2. Smarter search and insights

• Client balance visibility: Client balances now appear directly in search results, shown in standard accounting format.
• Best match search: Search results prioritise exact matches at the top of the list.
• Default filtering: Quote and Policy searches now apply your saved filters by default.

3. Advanced financial controls

• Cancel batch: Cancel and reverse entire batch payments or receipts in a single action.
• Terms of trade: Set payment terms by risk carrier and product, with automatic calculation of carrier due dates.
• Financial adjustments: Amend premiums and commissions on expired policies that have been locked by later endorsements, using the standard multi-quote interface. 

4. Claims light interface

• A simplified claims interface is now available for brokers. Keeping essential data entry front and centre with key policy details visible in a persistent banner.

Setup is required for some features

Most features are available immediately. A small number require configuration to match your business rules:

• Cancel Batch & redesigned Contacts: Require enabling specific modules or system lists (e.g. ContactMediums).
• Claims light: Enabled via two system parameters in Insurance settings.
• Custom grouping: Agent and Carrier types can now be customised via System Lists.
